This year there is no sub-theme as in previous years. The focus will be around what it might take to ‘move’ (or walk) in and with God’s anointing. We will look at some of the postures and attitudes that enable this.
Our foundational Scripture for the weekend is Isaiah 49:6: ‘..It is not enough for you to be my servant…I will make you the light of the nations so that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth’
Moving in the Anointing is a charismatic teaching weekend so we will be exercising the Gifts of the Holy Spirit including the Gift of Tongues.

UPCOMING:
13th – 15th June 2024
From 6pm Friday 13th June – lunchtime Sunday 15th June 2025.
MIA weekends have proved very popular in the past. If you would like to join us, and especially if you require accommodation, please book as soon as possible using the link below.
Guest speaker: Fr Emmanuel Mansford
Our foundational Scripture for the weekend is taken from 1 Peter 1: 16.
“…Do not behave in the way that you liked to before you learnt the truth; make a habit of obedience: be holy in all you do, since it is the Holy One who has called you…“
ALL Christians are called to be saints whatever rank or status.
The universal call to holiness is one of the central teachings of the Catholic Church as solemnly stated in the Vatican II dogmatic constitution on the Church, “Lumen Gentium”. We sometimes can assume that this vocation is reserved to the ‘chosen’ few without understanding that Jesus calls each and every one of us to be as holy as our heavenly Father is holy. But what does this mean in concrete terms? How can we appropriate that calling? How do I live that life of holiness God has called me to?
Join us on this weekend as we learn more about our call to holiness and learn how to embrace it in our own lives.
This is a silent retreat. 40-Hours Adoration, silence, and prayer form part of the weekend.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”
(Proverbs 27:17)
A man’s spirituality often flourishes best in the company of other men. This is a time of great challenge for Christian men as Msgr James Shea says “we are living in the first post-Christian civilisation in all history”.
The Men’s Weekend is a response to a great need in the hearts and lives of men, and a great need in the life of the Catholic Church. It is an opportunity for men to:
This weekend’s purpose is to help each man in his unique journey to become the man God created him to be.
