Primary School Mission

Our Primary School Missions are designed to share the Good News of God’s love and salvation with children in ways that are engaging, accessible, and rooted in the life of the Church. We exist to support schools in their mission of evangelisation, helping pupils encounter Jesus and grow in faith.

What We Offer

We offer week-long (5-day) missions centred around a Gospel theme, presented through daily morning assemblies and activities.

Alongside these, we also provide flexible opportunities tailored to the needs of your school community, including:

  • Retreat Days
  • Two- or Three-Day “Mini Missions”

Primary School Mission

Faith encouragement

We desire to see the younger generation growing confidently in their own personal relationship with God and with the community of the Church. Our mission supports staff and parents in finding ways to share and experience faith with their children.

Sion Community aims to create a culture in primary schools that encourages the sharing of the Gospel message:

God our Father, in His great love for us, has sent us His Son Jesus to set us free and give us new life in Him that we can experience now and forever.

Furthermore, we believe that the children can experience God’s presence in a wonderful way, and they should be supported and nourished for “it is to such as these that the kingdom of Heaven belongs”.

The mission aims to bring a powerful, impacting time of renewal to the local community. To refresh faith and bring a new desire to continue the journey of following Jesus. To bring His message of love to others.

Our approach

Our approach is creative, joyful, and collaborative.

Through a variety of engaging methods — including music, drama, storytelling, prayer, and interactive activities — we present the Gospel in ways that are meaningful and age-appropriate for children.

We work closely with each school to shape a programme that supports your existing provision and responds to the particular needs of your pupils.

We value the opportunity to partner with schools, encouraging both staff and pupils as they deepen their understanding of God’s love.

It would be a privilege to work with you in creating an experience that is inspiring, enriching, and spiritually fruitful for your whole school community.
