Our Vision for Parish Missions

Our Parish Mission Teams consist of priests, religious and lay people committed to proclaiming the Gospel in an encouraging and challenging way. Recognising our need for constant conversion and renewal, we seek to present the person of Jesus and invite a new openness to the Holy Spirit.

*Using a collaborative model, we work in partnership with the parish throughout the mission process from pre-Mission preparation through to follow up.
*With the Parish Priest, we work with parishioners helping them to discover and use their God-given gifts and abilities in the service of others.
*We encourage and equip parishioners to reach out to others and share their faith.
*We develop and foster the community aspect of Parish life and encourage parishes to be outward looking, particularly through welcome, openness and service for the up-building and advancement of the Kingdom.
*We seek to be open and sensitive to the particular needs of individual parish communities.
